The JULIAN TRAIN & GOLD MINE TOUR is an open-car train ride. There are no roofs on the cars so you may enjoy a 360 degree view. Coats or hats may be a good idea, depending on Julian weather. Closed-toe shoes are recommended. 

PIONEERWAYS , JR. PIONEERWAYS, and AMERICAN REVOLUTION ADVENTURE TOURS are outdoor programs. We will be hiking over mountain trails and meeting nature face-to-face.

Required Clothing:

• Comfortable Tennis shoes or boots that can get dirty. (No open-toed shoes or sandals.)
• Long pants or long skirts.
• Shirts or blouses with sleeves.
• Light to heavy jacket, depending on Julian weather conditions.

Suggested Clothing:

• Wearing pioneer dress-up clothing is encouraged and makes it more fun. Bonnets, aprons, vests, cowboy hats, bandanas, denim pants & shirts, coonskin caps, cowboy belts, and sheriff badges are all appropriate and welcome.

ALL TOURS PLEASE NOTE:

• Smoking of any kind is prohibited on Smith Ranch property.
• The consumption of alcoholic beverages is prohibited on Smith Ranch property.
• Pets are prohibited on Smith Ranch property, except those used to assist a physically challenged person.
• Smith Ranch provides family oriented tours and education. Visitor behavior not consistent with a family environment will not be tolerated and may result in refusal of service at Smith Ranch's discretion.
