JR. PIONEERWAYS ADVENTURE ~ 2½ hr. field trip with a pioneer guide, 10 am-12:30 pm, Mon.-Sat., all ages welcome, meets CA Curriculum Standards, includes train ride.

"All aboard for the Julian Pioneer Mining Camp!" Journey into America's past as you enjoy a train ride through Julian's beautiful and rugged mountains. Peek in the real Smith Ranch gold mine. Pitch in to help the pioneer families with their work and play. You'll be grinding grain, caring for animals, panning for gold, and so much more! Bring a sack lunch. It's American pioneer & gold rush fun at its best. "All aboard!"

Cost ~ $12 per person. One free adult for every 15 students. Parents are encouraged to attend so they may enjoy this fun and educational adventure with their children. (School discount: one free adult for every 15 paid students.) Please have one person handle money and tickets. Advanced reservation is required.
